4.4 Whangarei Golf Club dates back to 1907, making it one of Northland's older clubs, set on the slopes locals know as Mount Denby. Mature trees and water features shape strategy on both the tee shot and approach, and the club has added an indoor F.O.R.E. golf simulator for year-round practice alongside its pro shop, bar and coaching programmes.
