Tolaga Bay
New Zealand > North Island > Gisborne
Tolaga Bay Golf Club celebrated its centenary in 2025, having been founded in 1925 and grown from a converted tin shed and old maternity home into today's clubhouse on Banks Street. Family names like Lincoln, Higgs, McGregor and Harrison run through generations of membership, and the club's King of the Coast tournament has been a signature fixture since 1971. The flat nine-hole course sits right on the coast, and locals like to claim it as the first course in New Zealand to see the sunrise each day.
