4.4 Titahi Golf Club is the proud home course of 2005 US Open champion Michael Campbell, a nine-hole, links-like layout with massive sweeping fairways right on the edge of the bay near Porirua. Limited tree cover leaves the wind exposed, especially at the demanding 190-metre 8th, and elevated tees and risk-reward doglegs add real interest across just 5,133 metres. Despite its municipal, unpretentious feel, it's earned a place among reviewers' favourite nine-hole courses in the country.
