4.2 Temuka Golf Club was established in 1907 and plays a tidy parkland course on Domain Avenue, 140 kilometres south of Christchurch on the route toward Queenstown, Oamaru and Dunedin. Modest length is seen by many members as a positive rather than a limitation, with computer-controlled irrigation and a modern mower fleet keeping the course in strong condition. Flowering trees and colourful spring and autumn foliage give the layout genuine seasonal character.
