Te Puia Springs
New Zealand > North Island > Gisborne
Te Puia Springs Golf Club sits on an elevated hilltop plateau on the East Coast, around five kilometres north of the township, with panoramic views over the Pacific Ocean and Mount Hikurangi - a peak sacred to Ngati Porou. Raised tees, deep gullies, forested fairway edges, streams and lakes make full use of the dramatic terrain, on a course playing to a par of 66 for men and 68 for women. The club has run the East Coast Open, an annual two-day match-play tournament, for more than fifty years.
