4.7 Te Arai Links North is Tom Doak's design on the property, opened in October 2023 five miles down the coast from his earlier Tara Iti course. Seven of the 18 holes run along the Pacific, bookending an interior of rumpled dunes and pine-studded ground, with the par-4 5th green and 6th tee set on a ridge beside the remains of an ancient Maori pa. Walking-only, with no carts permitted, it's ranked among the world's top 100 courses.
