Tarras

New Zealand > South Island > Otago

GolfWise 4.4 (Provisional rating)

Tarras Golf Club was established in 1956 on State Highway 8 between Cromwell and Wanaka, in the heart of Central Otago's sheep-farming country, and remains one of the few original rural golf courses left in New Zealand. Sheep genuinely graze the course, with small fences protecting the greens from the animals, giving the course an authentic working-farm character. Green fees run on a simple honesty-box system at the first tee.
