4.3 Remuera Golf Club was established in 1934 and originally ran both a private and a public course before consolidating to a single 18-hole layout as the surrounding land grew too valuable to sustain two. Set in a woodland pocket just 15 minutes from the city on some of Auckland's most sought-after real estate, its greens are rated among the country's best, and the 164-metre par-3 3rd is considered one of New Zealand's standout holes.
