4.4 Rangitikei Golf Club plays five kilometres from Bulls over elevated tees and undulating fairways and greens, deliberately avoiding the manufactured feel of many modern courses for something closer to rugged, weather-shaped links terrain. The par-72 eighteen holes host the well-regarded Toyota Cup, and former Players Championship winner Craig Perks has named it his favourite course in the world - the one he'd choose to play for the rest of his life if he could only pick one. Ponds and varied fairways add further texture to a genuinely striking layout.
