4.3 Pupuke Golf Club on Auckland's North Shore is built around two contrasting nines - one winding through native bush past carefully placed feature trees, the other opening out to views across the Hauraki Gulf. The club considers it one of the more distinctive layouts in the country, and runs an active women's programme, "She Loves Golf," alongside a recently renovated clubhouse.
