GolfWise 4.0 (Provisional rating)

Patearoa Golf Club was established in 1968 when local land was gifted to the community for recreation, in a Maniototo township that began life in 1863 as the gold-mining settlement of Sowburn before shifting to farming. The nine holes sit in the peaceful surrounds of the Maniototo basin, drawing a mix of the small farming community and passing holiday and fishing visitors. Green fees are the same price for either nine or eighteen holes, with a monthly club day on the second Sunday.
