Pahiatua
New Zealand > North Island > Manawatū-Whanganui
Pahiatua Golf Club calls itself the Jewel of the Bush, sitting on State Highway 2 between Woodville and Pahiatua near the well-known Tui Brewery at Mangatainoka. It's a genuinely flexible club, open year-round to walkers as well as golfers using bikes or carts, with discounted green fees for overnighting caravan guests at the attached park. The cafe serving coffee and light meals adds to its role as a stopover for travellers through the district, not just a golfers' destination.
