4.0 Golf has been played in Paeroa for well over a century, with the club itself founded in 1904. The present 18-hole course at Rotokohu didn't become fully playable until after the Second World War, developed over decades through fundraising and volunteer labour. Members describe it as an attractive and genuinely challenging layout, and it remains a source of local pride as one of the region's longer-running clubs.
