4.3 Ohope Beach Golf Links runs along a narrow strip of land between the Pacific Ocean and Ohiwa Harbour, with water in view on both sides for much of the round. One popular event is the Ohope 10,000 Men's Open, held over Labour weekend, and often a sell out. The front nine (actually ten holes) shifts between open seaside links and tree-lined sections before the back nine returns along the harbour.Work over the last few years has really improved the last few holes.
