4.0 Nelson Golf Club plays a links-style eighteen holes right beside Nelson Airport and Tasman Bay, ten minutes from downtown and next door to Tahunanui Beach. A recent project felling more than 450 trees has revealed a more traditional links layout that had been obscured for years, and the greens have long been rated among the best in the country. The club has hosted national fixtures including the 2014 New Zealand Amateur Championship and the 2008 Toro Women's Interprovincial Championships.
