4.2 Mornington Golf Club runs the Berhampore course just five minutes south of Wellington's CBD, making full use of the contours of the hills within the Wellington Town Belt for a genuinely rewarding, varied test. It's open to the public from dawn till dusk with no tee-time booking required, and doubles as a community sports hub hosting disc golf, tai chi, bowls and all-abilities golf programmes. The club describes itself as friendly, multicultural and intergenerational, welcoming members of all ages and abilities.
