Masterton
New Zealand > North Island > Wellington
Masterton Golf Club offers a challenging, tree-lined, undulating course in the heart of Wairarapa wine country, roughly two hours from both Wellington and Hawke's Bay. Its biggest claim to fame is a young Sir Bob Charles, who honed his game on Masterton's fairways some six decades ago before going on to become one of New Zealand's greatest golfers. The club welcomes both members and visiting players to a course still shaped by that competitive heritage.
