Awatoto

Awatoto is a public nine-hole course that operates as a companion facility to the neighbouring Maraenui Golf Club in Napier, open to all comers - golfers, non-golfers, families and work groups alike. The course recently reopened after being badly damaged by flooding from Cyclone Gabrielle, a reminder of how exposed this stretch of coast can be. It's a low-key, accessible option for a quick nine rather than a full championship round.
