Golflands (Karamu)

Golflands is a privately owned public course about five kilometres north of Hastings at Mangateretere, established in February 2011 and named for the Karamu Stream that meanders around the property. Nine holes play out from different tee positions on the back nine, effectively giving a full round's variety from a compact layout, with both internal and external out-of-bounds keeping things tight. It's a deliberately family-friendly club, aimed at welcoming players of all ages and abilities rather than chasing championship status.
