Kaikoura
New Zealand > South Island > Canterbury
Kaikoura Golf Club plays eighteen holes of up to 5,352 metres, five minutes south of Kaikoura township, dramatically positioned between the Seaward Kaikoura Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Each hole carries its own Maori or descriptive name - Moana, Mt Fyffe, Devil's Elbow among them - and irrigated fairways wind through a genuinely breathtaking landscape despite the course's relatively short modern length. It's designed as leisurely country golf, free of the pressures of a city course.
