Kaiapoi

Kaiapoi Golf Club was established in 1907 and bills itself as the jewel of North Canterbury, twenty minutes north of Christchurch. A sandy base gives the undulating, links-and-parkland eighteen holes excellent drainage - among the driest courses in Canterbury through winter - and rounds typically wrap up in just over three hours thanks to the course's more modest length. Both nine and eighteen-hole play are available, backed by computerised irrigation and full clubhouse catering.
