Hamilton (St Andrews)
New Zealand > North Island > Waikato
Hamilton Golf Club, better known simply as St Andrews, has occupied its St Andrews Terrace site since 1913, a decade after the club was founded. The layout blends parkland with a links-land feel, tracing a meandering stretch of river and carrying some of the most extensive bunkering of any New Zealand course. Its short par-3 18th, guarded by a prominent front bunker, is often mentioned among the country's best finishing holes. The club has hosted the New Zealand Open six times, most recently in 1975.
