3.8 Designed by Sir Bob Charles, winner of the 1963 Open Championship, Formosa is an 18-hole championship resort course attached to the Rydges hotel in Beachlands, east Auckland, with shoreline views across the layout. Five tee options cater to every level of golfer, and the resort runs its own NZPGA coaching and pro shop alongside the on-site Nineteen Restaurant.
