4.2 Everglades Country Golf Club was established in 1967 on Marshland Road, twenty minutes north of Christchurch, with the Kaputone Stream bordering two sides of the property. Tree-lined fairways and relatively small greens keep the nine holes genuinely testing despite the club's low-key, friendly reputation, and playing groups are deliberately varied week to week so members get to know each other. Shotgun starts keep competition rounds finishing together.
