Coromandel golf course

Coromandel

New Zealand > North Island > Waikato

GolfWise 4.2

On the edge of Coromandel town, this nine-hole course threads an undulating route between two valleys, with most greens set above the fairway so approach shots have to carry the rise. Hole names recall the district's old gold mines, a nod to the area's mining-era history. A club has played here since the 1920s, though the present site dates to 1961. It's regularly rated among New Zealand's better nine-hole layouts, combining tidy greens with genuinely testing, varied golf.
