4.2 (Provisional rating) Cape Turnagain Golf Club is a laid-back nine-holer at Herbertville, about an hour's drive from Dannevirke, with very reasonable green fees aimed squarely at leisurely rather than competitive golf. Its Seaview Road address puts it right on the coast, in a genuinely remote corner of southern Hawke's Bay/Wairarapa golfing country that few visitors stumble upon by accident.
